Discovery Reports Limited is a leading international media firm specializing in the production of special country business development reports for Asia’s leading English language newspaper, The South China Morning Post.  These special reports are read by key global business leaders, influential decision makers and opinion leaders providing an important source of information for the Asian business community.  Our reports bridge expertise from international companies and Asia’s growing expertise demand by providing a platform for business development in the Asian region.  The reports are meant to strengthen bilateral trade relations and serve as a guide to creating new and viable business co-operation opportunities.

Discovery Reports Limited is an extremely dynamic company seeking professional and highly motivated individuals willing to travel globally and able to interact and negotiate with key decision makers.  Individuals will experience living and working in a different country every three and half months.

INTERNATIONAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE Job Description:

Travel the world producing promotional business reports and raise sponsorship support through advertising sales.

Meet and interview the CEO’s and Managing Directors of a country’s leading companies and promote the reports as a platform for business development in Asia.

• Negotiate, pitch and sell advertorial spaces to key decision makers.
• Conduct market research and analyze companies for possible target markets.
• Gain a thorough understanding of current economic issues, business trends, and learn about the companies within the country in focus.
• Direct and lead strategizing sessions and presentations with team members.

Requirements & Skills:

• Must be able to travel eleven months out of the year around the world. The country projects changes every three and  a half months.
• Prior sales experience is necessary and must be professional, persistent and be able to comfortably negotiate at the highest corporate level.
• Display superior communications skills and flexibility and confidence in challenging situations.
• Excellent market research skills and analytical knowledge of global business and economic trends.
• Must be highly motivated, disciplined, organized, and show leadership skills.
• Previous marketing or public relations experience with a proven track record is an asset.
• Minimum 2 years corporate working experience.
• University Degree is required.

Compensation Package:

• Salary package includes a Base Salary, Commissions on Sales, and Performance Bonuses.
• Business travel expenses such as Apartments / Hotels, Flights, Logistics, and Daily Allowances are provided by the company.
• International Health Insurance.
